By the 1930s, the Delta Egyptian Theater was one of more than 100 Egyptian Revival theaters built across the U.S., inspired by the discovery of King Tutankhamun’s tomb in 1922. Today, it is one of only six remaining Egyptian-style theaters in the country, making it a rare and important cultural and architectural landmark.
This Event Supports the Egyptian Theatre and One hundred percent of this optional contribution supports restoration, programming and operations at The Egyptian.

Built in 2024, the new Asteria Theatre is a state-of-the-art facility that is home to CMU's theatre and music department performances and community events.
